Editorial policy
This site takes money from advertisers. That creates an obvious pressure on what gets written, and the only useful response is to state in advance what we will and will not do about it — specifically enough that you can hold us to it.
Who writes this site
Editorial responsibility for everything published here rests with Nancy Scott, director of publication and responsible editor, on behalf of Celusagruna s.r.o..
Every article carries a named byline and a publication date. There are no anonymous posts, no "staff" bylines standing in for nobody, and no articles bought from a content mill and put out under a made-up author name.
We do not use generated text as finished copy. Research tools may be used to find sources; what is published is written and checked by a person, and that person's name is on it.
How facts are established
The working rule is that a claim gets published when we can point at where it came from. In order of preference:
- The primary source. The game publisher's own site, official press releases, store listings, the in-game display, the official terms. For a claim about what a game does, the game and its publisher outrank everyone.
- Documented public record. Company filings, regulator publications, established reference works and trade press for things like ownership, dates and ratings.
- Direct observation, labelled as such.
Sources are listed on the page, as links, so you can check them rather than take our word. Community wikis and fan databases are useful and we read them, but where we rely on one we say so and mark the claim as community-derived rather than official.
Numbers get special treatment
Statistics are the easiest thing to fake and the hardest thing for a reader to check, so:
- We do not publish a figure we cannot source. If we cannot source it, it does not appear — we do not round it, estimate it or "illustrate" it.
- Where a number changes constantly — roster sizes, prices, drop rates, install sizes — we explain the mechanism and send you to the live official display instead of printing a number that will be wrong within weeks.
- Where a diagram shows relative quantities rather than measured ones, the caption says so on the diagram itself.
- Where we are uncertain, we hedge in plain words: "we could not verify", "community sources suggest", "as of September 2026".
How this site is funded
By advertising, and by nothing else. Specifically: partner links. If you follow one and become the advertiser's customer, the advertiser may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra and does not change your price.
We disclose that in four places, on purpose: a bar at the very top of every page; a
disclosure box immediately under the headline, before any promotional content; a visible
"partner link" label on every button, including those in sidebars; and a note under each
button repeating the commission and that it costs you nothing. Every commercial link also
carries rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" in the HTML, which is the machine-readable
version of the same statement.
We do not take payment for coverage itself. We do not sell articles, sell mentions, sell placement within a ranking, or accept a fee to remove criticism.
Advertiser independence
No advertiser gets to see an article before publication, approve it, edit it, or require a change to it. Nobody outside the editorial responsibility of Celusagruna s.r.o. decides what is published here.
The test we apply to ourselves is simple: would this sentence still be here if nobody were paying? If the answer is no, the sentence is advertising copy and does not belong in editorial text.
In practice this means the guide on this site says unflattering things about the product it advertises — that the monetisation is heavy, that free accounts do not compete at the top of the ladder, that what you buy has randomised contents. Those statements cost us money. They stay in, because removing them is the exact thing this policy exists to prevent.
What we refuse to do
Not aspirations. Rules.
- No invented testimonials. We publish no "reader story", no "reader-submitted experience", no quoted player who does not exist. If we have not verified a person said something, we do not print it.
- No invented ratings or scores. No star ratings, no "9.2/10", no "editor's choice" badge manufactured to look like an award. A score implies a methodology; we have no scoring methodology, so we publish no scores.
- No fabricated statistics. No retention percentages, no player counts, no satisfaction figures that trace back to nothing. An earlier version of the main article on this site carried exactly that kind of number; it was removed and the removal is listed publicly.
- No artificial urgency. No countdown timers, no "only 3 spots left", no "offer ends tonight" unless an advertiser has genuinely published that deadline and we can point at it.
- No guaranteed-result claims. We will not tell you a purchase will get you a specific outcome in a randomised system, because that is not how a randomised system works.
- No fake scarcity, fake popularity or fake social proof. No invented download counters, no "join 10 million players" unless it is sourced.
- No disguised advertising. A commercial link is labelled a commercial link, every time, everywhere. Nothing on this site is designed to be mistaken for editorial when it is paid.
- No dark patterns. No pop-up that has to be dismissed, no interstitial before content, no fake close button, no consent banner designed to be clicked through.
- No tracking. We collect nothing, which means we cannot sell anything about you. See the cookie policy.
Corrections procedure
We get things wrong. What matters is what happens next.
- Tell us. Email info@miravain.online with the page and what is wrong. You do not need to prove it — pointing at it is enough for us to go and check.
- We check it against the primary source, normally within a few working days.
- If we were wrong, we fix it and say so. Substantive factual corrections are logged on the page itself, in a visible corrections section stating what the page used to say and why it changed. We do not silently edit a claim out of existence and carry on as though it was never there. The main guide's corrections table is what that looks like in practice.
- Typographical fixes — spelling, a broken link, a formatting error — are made without a log entry, because logging them would bury the corrections that matter.
- If we were right, we will tell you why, and show you the source.
If a claim turns out to be unverifiable rather than wrong, it comes out. The burden sits with us to support what we publish, not with you to disprove it.
Independence from the companies we write about
Celusagruna s.r.o. is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Plarium Games, Modern Times Group, or any other game publisher or platform named on this site. We hold no position in them, and we receive nothing from them other than the advertising commission described above, paid through an advertising network.
Images
Every diagram on this site is an original SVG drawn by us for the article it appears in. We publish no product screenshots, no promotional artwork and no stock photography, and we load no image from a third-party server. Each diagram carries real alternative text and a caption, and where a diagram shows illustrative rather than measured values, it says so.
